This is not a blog post
This is our advertising campaign!
When someone says “airline” to you, a number of thoughts and ideas probably come to mind. From the start, we’ve been out to redefine them. And our new ad campaign really sums this up for us.
When talking about our ideas for OpenSkies with our ad agency, Taxi, they mentioned the famous painting by René Magritte of a pipe with the words “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” (This is not a pipe). Magritte wanted to challenge people’s notion of how they see an object. And now we’re challenging people’s notion of how they see an airline.
From our menu to our hiring process, we’ve made every effort to exceed what people have come to expect. We’re not just an airline—we aim to be a gratifying experience. Our crew is more than just people taking you from point A to B—they’re experts at looking after your every need. And you aren’t just a passenger—you’re our number one priority.
After a lot of hard work, “this is not…” finally is. Our first ads broke in magazines like Forbes and BusinessWeek, newspapers like the New York Times and Le Monde, and websites like Vogue.fr and Bloomberg.com. As you can see from the photo, we have the billboard at New York’s Midtown Tunnel, courtesy of British Airways. They’ve advertised on that billboard for 15 years and have been kind enough to loan the space to us for a little while. We even worked with New York Magazine to create our own online guide to Paris, full of tips on the hottest things Paris has to offer. It’s exhilarating to see a beautiful ad campaign for a project we’ve worked so long and hard to make happen.
Let us know where you’ve seen the ads, and let us know what you think of them!

Anyone think this borrows heavily from the Marks and Spencer’s Food adverts; “this is not just food, this M&S food”. Just a thought, I mean the OpenSkies advert is good don’t get me wrong.

Drove into the city this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see the BA billboard converted to OpenSkies. I love that 757 nose! Good luck!

Are seat maps available for the new Open Skies Boeing 757 planes? I would like to see the seating configuration for each class of service.
Do the Biz class seats face each other, as they do with the aisle and window seats in British Airways Club World? Any chance you have eliminated the requirement of stepping over a sleeping strangers legs to get out of your seat?
New airline sounds great!! Congrats!!

I took notice oof your smaller posters while riding a New Jersey Transit train from New York to Trenton, NJ. The posters were on both north and south bound wait-level poster frames.
May I suggest for the next printing a slightly heavier printing so that train passengers might be able to read the print better through tinted windows, especially in reduced light conditions. Nice campaign. It got me to your website.
Good Luck
