June 19 we take the sky!
The countdown is on! In less than a month, our first plane will be flying. We’ve named our first plane Lauren, which you may remember is what we called OpenSkies when we first started this project. (That seems so long ago now!) Not only that, but our great new website www.flyopenskies.com is up. Book tickets, check schedules, even check-in all via the site. I hope you take the time to visit it—and I hope you take advantage of our fantastic launch offer, Prem+ from New York to Paris, click here for the details.
As one of our team members said to me the other day, the Prem+ launch deal is a unique offer for a unique offering. And thinking about it, she’s right. Prem+ has a ton of legroom, a ton of space—there’s only 28 seats in the entire cabin—and newly designed leather seats that recline a 140°.
Our website and concierge desk aren’t the only places you can book a ticket or take advantage of our launch deal. All our flights and fares are bookable through British Airways or travel agents. Not only that, but you’ll earn Executives Miles no matter how you book a flight. And soon Executive Club members will be able to redeem miles on OpenSkies flights.
Let me know what you think of our new site. I look forward to seeing you on an upcoming flight!

Hello Dale
Congratulations on the launch, both of the website and the company.
But i must say that i am very dissapointed about the prices that are charged. OpenSkies is more then twice as expensive as other business class airlines like L’Avion,Virgin and BA. In fact, your rates are even higher than major carriers like Lufthansa, AirFrance and KLM. As an example, L’Avion charges only half of what OS charges for a flight in business-class in August (2600 euro at L’Avion instead of 4600 euro at OS) for 2 tickets. Flying from the same airports, i don’t see a bright future for OS. From London, BA charges only 2760 euro for that flight in business class for 2 tickets. It is a real shame that OS misses an opportunity to take away marketshare from the other major european airlines, but with this rates i think no-one will choose to fly OS if the national carriers are cheaper.

I have some question regarding the reservations.
Is it possible to continue on a oneworld flight such as American Airline after an Openskies flight??
Same question but with a oneworld flight first…??

The website looks clear, easy and very professional! I particularly enjoy the option to mix-and-match the classes and the flexibility…! Well done on that one!

Will you be joining oneworld or another airline alliance or will you remain on your own. By the way love the websites (plural) im glad i can still watch openskies progress i also like the “this is not a plane” and “this is not a passenger” thing its quite interesting

Website was painfully slow when I tried it. Start date on the website states 19 JUNE. Hold the mouse over the icon and it says 19 JULY. I couldn’t find a link showing the schedule anywhere. Is there one? I’m sure these are teething issues but something you should address soooner rather than later.
